For Merchants Using the New Customer Accounts

The new customer accounts are Shopify’s updated customer account experience introduced in 2023.

Legacy Customer Accounts required customers to log in with an email address and password. With new customer accounts, login is handled via email-based authentication, so passwords are no longer required.

From the Shopify admin:

1. Go to Settings (bottom-left of the admin)

2. Open Checkout

3. Click Customize

4. Open Customer accounts and add the app block

Once the app block is added, Discount Deck will be displayed on the new customer account pages.
