llms.txt is a new format proposed in 2024 to help AI systems (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) understand a website accurately and efficiently.
Most websites are designed to be easy for humans to read, with visual layouts and UI elements—but they are not always optimized for how AI reads and interprets information.
By placing an LLMs.txt file on your site, you can provide AI with a clear “map” of your site structure and a list of available content, making it easier for AI to correctly interpret your store’s information (similar to how a sitemap helps search engines).

Description
Product name
Product description
Product price (the actual purchase price)
Product tags
Page title
Content/body

This information will be included and provided to AI systems via the llms.txt file.
