Web Survey Point Rewards

  • Grant a specific number of points when a customer completes a web survey

You can also control reward frequency—such as once per day or once per month—by configuring conditions in Shopify Flow.

  • A customer completes a web survey

  • After submission, the customer is redirected to a page created with User Tag Plus

  • A “Grant Points” button is displayed

  • The customer clicks the button

  • Points are granted automatically

This setup is especially useful when using a survey tool that does not include a built-in reward or point feature.

If you are using a survey app such as Asklayer, which already provides reward functionality, please configure the point rewards directly within that app.

  • Create a new page using the theme editor

  • Embed User Tag Plus on this page

  • In your survey tool, set the completion / Thank you page to redirect to the page created in Step 1

Create a Shopify Flow workflow to grant points when the customer tag is applied.

  • Shopify Flow

  • A points / loyalty app that supports Shopify Flow actions

  • Create a customer segment that includes users with the specific tag added by User Tag Plus

Set up the following workflow in Shopify Flow:

Trigger

  • Customer joined segment

  • Select the segment created in Step 1

Action ①: Grant Points

  • Use your loyalty app’s Flow action (e.g. Add points) to grant points to the customer

Action ②: Remove Customer Tag (Optional but Recommended)

  • Remove the customer tag added by User Tag Plus

If the tag is not removed, the reward cannot be granted again, which may prevent future reward campaigns from running correctly.
